Carl Hughes Carpenter & Joiner has completed a prestigious bespoke library project spanning three walls made from Crown American Walnut veneered boarding, edged with 2.5mm solid Walnut.  The library was built to completely utilise all of the available space under sloping ceilings with exposed beams in a penthouse apartment.  The shelves were fitted to meet the specific requirements of the client – taking into consideration the height of the client’s books and the weight of the books. Carl made matching plinths and cornice to complement the library and give it an exemplary finish.
